A Rare Presentation of a Clear Cell Variant of Peritoneal Mesothelioma

Primary malignant peritoneal mesothelioma with clear cell subtype is a rare malignancy few previously reported cases. We present 63-year-old female who presented abdominal distention and was diagnosed of the peritoneum an isolated metastasis to liver. The patient underwent surgical resection greater than 50 cm mass en-bloc partial liver gastric uneventful post-operative course. There are established prognostic treatment recommendations for based on histological patient-specific factors, although they do not explicitly incorporate subtype. This case report describes presentation, early outcome form mesothelioma.
